A Year of Community, Connection, and Cheers: 2025 in Review
2025 was certainly a year to remember. We welcomed countless patrons through our doors. Regulars, neighbors, and visitors from around the globe who stopped in to raise a pint, share a meal, and soak in the spirit of Boston. From busy nights at the bar to intimate gatherings in our dining room, this year reminded us just how special it is to be a place where people choose to celebrate, connect, and unwind.
This year brought plenty of highs. We celebrated our 56th year in business, a milestone that still fills us with pride and gratitude. We hosted a handful of cocktail-making classes that quickly became guest favorites, inspiring both seasoned home bartenders and first-timers alike. And, of course, we launched this very blog which became a new way to share stories, updates, and a little behind-the-scenes look at what makes our pub what it is.
But 2025 also carried moments of deep reflection. We lost George Wendt on the anniversary of Cheers Last Call — someone who, since the show first aired, became synonymous with this place and the community around it. The outpouring of love, memories, and heartfelt stories shared in the days that followed was overwhelming in the best possible way. It reminded us that what we do here reaches far beyond food and drink; it touches people’s lives. And for that, we are endlessly grateful.
As we look ahead to 2026, we do so with full hearts and renewed purpose. There’s so much to be excited about. New events, seasonal celebrations, neighborhood traditions, and all the everyday moments that make this pub what it is. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another year of good company, good cheer, and the kind of hospitality that feels like home.
